A change of pace from my whiny self. I really wanted to show love to my handful of readers who have courageously spent time to give me solid reviews for my works.
It’s because of my awesome readers’ appreciation that I keep going. I’m only a writer as long as I know at least one person values what I deliver.
Occasionally, I’m going to pick one of my treasured reviews and then break it down in a positive reaction article here.

I’ll refer to the reviewer as Reader. This is in respect for their user identity and also just to focus on the review itself. I know that posting is public accessible, but I want to respect their ID being exclusive to the work’s site. So, on this platform, I’ll refer to them as Reader.
Positively Reacting to [To My Sunflower] Review
One of my treasured reviews is for my work, To My Sunflower on Webnovel.com, posted two years ago from Reader there.
Why I love this review so much ❤️
The first thing Reader acknowledges is the audience. They’re basically saying to the potential interested reader, “Hey, it’s okay.”
It means a lot to me that they mentioned on this.
It’s understandable for people to avoid BL works, just as much as anyone would avoid something not of their interest. But letting those who may want to give it a go, to say it’s okay, is one thing a writer can only hope for from a review.
I really like the fact that they stated the tone. I guess, letting others know that the story isn’t a light novel, but is compelling enough to be read. Well, I see it this way, anyway. 🙏 Very much thanks.
This wrap-up to the review is what fuels me to keep going (other than I would literally die if I stopped writing). This is what I’m sure most writers dream to receive in a review. I’ve been very lucky.
For Reader to have picked up what my story message intentions were and take some meaning away from it that inspired such comments, I couldn’t feel more blessed and happy.
